Mert Okatan is returning to the Love Island <\/em>franchise with Love Island Games <\/em>is about to begin, now the footballer is explaining his intentions going into the villa.<\/p>\n The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Love Island USA <\/em>posted a video introduction for Mert where he describes himself for viewers.<\/p>\n \u201cI am now here, back to win the game again.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n Mert began the video explaining, \u201cI\u2019m a good boy you know, I don\u2019t just sleep with any girl. You can bring me home to meet your mom\u201d<\/p>\n Mert isn\u2019t worried about the language barrier causing an issue for him and his potential love interest. \u201cI love American woman. If I love a girl, you don\u2019t need language you know. Look each other in the eyes and then it just happens you know what I mean?\u201d<\/p>\n The former Love Island <\/em>winner explains his strength going into the games, sharing, \u201cI\u2019m very competitive person. I hate to lose.\u201d<\/p>\n He explains that his \u201cSpeed\u201d is an 8 out of 10, whereas he believes his strength \u201c10\/10.\u201d The footballer explains that \u201cI actually go 4 or 5 times a week to the gym. After that I eat my eggs. I never skip leg day.\u201d<\/p>\n His plan going into the game is straight forward, \u201cI\u2019m a born winner you know. I hate to lose, so I\u2019m here to not lose to win the game.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans took to social media to show their support for Mert, one user theorized, \u201cHe’s going to bag Andreina. Good luck Tyrique! Y’all don’t know how vile these dutch men are.\u201d A second user shared, \u201cHe’s giving innocence. Kaykay will not see this one now\u201d, with a third adding, \u201cY\u2019all talking bout Andreina going with Tyrique (which she definitely still might lol) but something in me feels like she may go for him too like how she went for Pepe\u201d<\/p>\n Mert competed on Love Island Netherlands & Belgium <\/em>season 2 in 2020, where he and his partner Joan Pronk won the series, beating out 29 other islanders. The series ran from August 31, 2020 \u2013 October 11, 2020.<\/p>\n Mert and Joan broke up in 2021.
