The 77th Emmy Awards have officially begun, and TV\u2019s biggest stars are walking the red carpet ahead of the ceremony.<\/p>\n

Apple TV+\u2019s sci-fi thriller \u201cSeverance<\/a>\u201d leads all programs with 27 nominations. HBO Max<\/a>\u2019s Batman<\/a> spinoff \u201cThe Penguin<\/a>\u201d follows close with 24. In third place is Apple<\/a>\u2019s industry satire \u201cThe Studio<\/a>\u201d with 23.<\/p>\n

If \u201cSeverance<\/a>\u201d and \u201cThe Studio<\/a>\u201d win for best drama and comedy, respectively, Apple would be the first network to win in both top categories since HBO did it in 2016 with \u201cGame of Thrones<\/a>\u201d and \u201cVeep<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Industry projections have \u201cThe Studio<\/a>\u201d leading the pack with 12 wins. \u201cSeverance<\/a>\u201d and \u201cThe Penguin<\/a>\u201d should tie for second with nine apiece. Netflix<\/a>\u2019s \u201cAdolescence<\/a>\u201d is looking to take home eight statuettes, while NBC<\/a>\u2019s \u201cSNL50: The Anniversary Special<\/a>\u201d is eyeing five wins.<\/p>\n
