The Paramount+ series, created by <em data-node-id=\"4.4\">Yellowstone<\/em> showrunner Taylor Sheridan, did not receive a single nomination ahead of tonight\u2019s awards ceremony, which meant the cast was forced to skip the red carpet. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"css-i9p093 emevuu60\">Despite high-profile performances from actors including Billy Bob Thornton, Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, and Ali Larter, <em data-node-id=\"5.1\">Landman<\/em> is one of several Sheridan projects the Emmys has opted to ignore. None of the creator\u2019s six eligible dramas cracked any of the major nomination categories this year. Although <em data-node-id=\"5.3\">1923<\/em> season 2 earned nods for production design and costumes (and <em data-node-id=\"5.5\">Special Ops: Lioness<\/em> and <em data-node-id=\"5.7\">Tulsa King<\/em> for best stunts), projects including <em data-node-id=\"5.9\">Mayor of Kingstown<\/em>, <em data-node-id=\"5.11\">Landman<\/em>, and <em data-node-id=\"5.13\">Yellowstone<\/em> itself were all shut out entirely.<\/p>\n<section data-embed=\"watch-next\" data-lazy-id=\"P0-12\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"embed\"\/>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-i9p093 emevuu60\">Still, that doesn\u2019t seem to have phased Paramount+ as it speeds toward <em data-node-id=\"7.1\">Landman<\/em>\u2019s next-season release date, November 16, which fans are already eagerly anticipating. In a January 2025 interview with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.elle.com\/culture\/movies-tv\/a63376010\/ali-larter-landman-interview-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.elle.com\/culture\/movies-tv\/a63376010\/ali-larter-landman-interview-2025\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"ELLE\" data-node-id=\"7.3\" class=\"body-link css-inlxvj emevuu60\">ELLE<\/a>, Larter shared her hopes that audiences would see more of her character, Angela, with Thornton\u2019s character, Tommy. \u201cI\u2019ll take more scenes where we are in bed together, where we\u2019re really talking. I think that connection\u2014that unlikely love story\u2014is something really interesting. We\u2019re going to see, as the [next] season unfolds, that Angela\u2019s going to be in a different place in her life again. This season, he was able to really focus in the first few episodes on the family dynamic and the business dynamic.
