Tramell Tillman<\/a> has been a clear standout in \u201cSeverance<\/a>\u201d since the show premiered in 2022.<\/p>\n Now the actor, who plays fan-favorite character Seth Milchick, has made history with his first Emmys win.<\/p>\n Tillman, 40, wins the Emmy for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series.<\/p>\n He is both the first Black actor and first openly gay Black actor to win the category.<\/p>\n Tillman receives the honor for playing Milchick, the manager of the \u201csevered\u201d floor in the series, known for his good diction, commitment to his company and rousing office dance parties.<\/p>\n \u201cYou remember what you wanna remember, you make time for what you wanna make time for,\u201d the actor said, accepting the Emmy at Sunday\u2019s ceremony. \u201cDo the work, show up. And most importantly, for the love of God, don\u2019t embarrass me in public.\u201d<\/p>\n It was soon apparent he was quoting someone very important in his life.<\/p>\n \u201cMy first acting coach was tough, y\u2019all,\u201d Tillman said. \u201cBut all great mothers all.\u201d<\/p>\n With that, the camera turned to his mother in the audience, who was visibly overcome with emotion.<\/p>\n
