The song, produced by Seals\u2019 longtime producer Kyle Lehning pays homage to one of country music\u2019s truest voices, 16 years after his untimely passing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I think of all time iconic songs, this one definitely comes top of mind,\u201d Luke Bryan said. \u201cDan was an artist I had on repeat and actually still do. The recording is a poignant full-circle moment because Dunn and co-writer Terry McBride wrote the song about Johnson 15 years ago, just as the Alabama native\u2019s career was taking off.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt makes me think of my early days in Nashville, bringing my guitar downtown to play,\u201d Johnson says. \u201cOnce I was playing Tootsie\u2019s Orchid Lounge and came back out and my 1986 Dodge had been towed. Following last week\u2019s lush, dreamlike \u201cSweet Tangerine,\u201d the new song finds the duo reflecting on transient beauty. \u201cLast year we went on a trip to a lodge in Idaho and I daydreamed about a heartbroken cowboy,\u201d shares Abner. \u201cThe song started as his story, but really it\u2019s about the beautiful moments in life.
