Noah Wyle<\/strong> just won his first Emmy Award!<\/p>\n The actor, 54, took home the win for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Dr. Michael \u201cRobby\u201d Robinavitch in the HBO Max medical drama\u00a0The Pitt<\/em>.<\/p>\n The series also won Outstanding Drama Series, and Wyle is an executive producer.<\/p>\n \u201cFirst of all, to my fellow nominees, just having my name included in your company is the honor of a lifetime,\u201d Wyle said in his acceptance speech. \u201cThank you to everybody at HBO Max and Warner Bros. Television for allowing the conditions to exist for lightning to strike in my life twice. He was nominated in five consecutive years from 1995-1999 in the Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category for his role as Dr. John Carter, but never won.<\/p>\n The lead drama category was one of the tightest races this Emmys season, with Wyle being nominated alongside Sterling K.
