Jeff Hiller<\/a> took home the award for supporting actor in a comedy series for his role in Somebody Somewhere<\/a> at the 2025 Emmy Awards on Sunday, marking his first win at the awards show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like I\u2019m gonna cry because the past 25 years I\u2019ve been like, \u2018World, I wanna be an actor\u2019 and the world\u2019s like, \u2018Maybe computers,’\u201d Hiller said at the beginning of his acceptance speech. He then thanked HBO for \u201cputting a show about sweaty, middle aged people on the same network as the sexy teens of Euphoria<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hiller went on to thank the show\u2019s writers for penning a show \u201cabout connecting and love in this time when compassion is seen as a weakness.\u201d<\/p>\n
