Speaking with Entertainment Tonight<\/a>, the Severance star opened up about her look and the story behind her tie-dyed ensemble.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, this is a Rick Owens dress and I love it, but I stained it,\u201d she revealed, adding, \u201cSo then I just tie-dyed it. Which I do. I tie-dyed everything. This is artsy craftsy. It makes the world go around.”<\/p>\n For the Emmys red carpet, Arquette dazzled in a floor-length gown with a dark tie-dye effect. The silhouette featured a square, loose-fitting design with wide square shoulders that complemented her figure.<\/p>\n The Boyhood star elevated her look with black gloves, diamond accessories and metallic sandals for a sophisticated red carpet finish.<\/p>\n With a long list of awards under her belt, Arquette has won two Primetime Emmys: one for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for The Act and another for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Medium.<\/p>\n As for this year\u2019s ceremony, she said that she still feels \u201cexcited\u201d coming to the event and watching fellow celebrities gather in a night of glamour and recognition.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been enough to be here several times,\u201d she shared. \u201cIt\u2019s always exciting, you always have other performers, even in other shows that you get to celebrate and meet. There\u2019s so many of my castmates that it’s their first nomination, and super exciting to be here with all of them.\u201d<\/p>\n The actress also mentioned what her director, Ben Stiller, said to their fellow co-stars for the Emmys.<\/p>\n \u201cBen said, \u2018No matter what happens, let\u2019s have fun, guys,\u2019\u201d she remarked when asked about her advice for first-time nominees.<\/p>\n She even compared attending the ceremony to a high school reunion, seeing stars she\u2019s known for years and reconnecting with familiar faces.<\/p>\n Arquette is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as the former severed floor manager Harmony Cobel in the Apple TV+ sci-fi drama.
