Owen Cooper<\/a>, the young star at the center of the hit series \u201cAdolescence<\/a>,\u201d just set some new records at the Emmys.<\/p>\n He is now the youngest male actor to win in the acting categories. He\u2019s also the youngest actor to win the Emmy for outstanding supporting actor in a limited or anthology series or movie.<\/p>\n Cooper, 15, made his screen debut in the Netflix show<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cStanding up here, wow, it\u2019s just so surreal,\u201d he said, accepting the award (see full video below).<\/p>\n \u201cHonestly, when I started these drama classes a couple years back, I didn\u2019t expect to be even in the United States, nevermind here,\u201d said Cooper, who hails from Warrington, England. \u201cBut I think tonight proves that if you listen and you focus and step out your comfort zone, you can achieve anything in life.
