The 2025 Emmy Awards<\/a> were a star-studded affair, but some notable names \u2014 including nominees \u2014 missed out on the awards show.<\/p>\n

Jeremy Allen White<\/strong>, who was up for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, didn\u2019t walk the Emmys red carpet on Sunday, September 14, for the first time since Hulu\u2019s The Bear<\/em><\/a> premiered in June 2022. This was also the first year since the show\u2019s inception<\/a> that he didn\u2019t take home the lead actor award, which went to Seth Rogen<\/strong> for his role as Matt Remick<\/a> in The Studio<\/em>.<\/p>\n

White\u2019s costar Ayo Edebiri<\/strong>, who was also up for an award this year, didn\u2019t attend the ceremony either, but The Bear<\/em> fans saw Ebon Moss-Bachrach<\/strong>, Abby Elliott<\/strong> and other cast members grace the event.<\/p>\n

Eric Dane<\/strong>, meanwhile, was set to make his first major appearance at the Emmys since announcing his ALS diagnosis in April<\/a>. The actor was expected to appear alongside former Grey\u2019s Anatomy<\/em><\/a> costar Jesse Williams<\/strong>, but when it came time to present, Williams appeared on the stage solo.<\/p>\n

Williams praised his bond with Dane before the ceremony, telling Entertainment Tonight<\/em>, \u201cIt\u2019s really wonderful. I had a really wonderful time working with him, in particular, but the show has had \u2014 everywhere I go \u2014 the show has had, and continues to have, a really remarkable, emotional, intellectual impact on people all over the globe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ayo Edebiri<\/h2>\n

The actress did not attend Sunday\u2019s awards show due to a \u201cscheduling conflict,\u201d according to E! News<\/em><\/a>. Edebiri is currently filming a project in Japan.<\/p>\n

Sofia Vergara<\/h2>\n

The Modern Family<\/em><\/a> alum was set to present at Sunday\u2019s awards show but was forced to back out at the last minute after going to the emergency room.<\/p>\n
