No one gives an acceptance speech like Tramell Tillman<\/a>. When the Severance<\/a> star took to the Emmys<\/a> stage to accept the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, the actor behind Mr. Milchick heartily thanked his first acting coach: his mom.<\/p>\n \u201cYou remember what you want to remember. And most importantly, for the love of God, don\u2019t embarrass me in public,\u201d Tillman said. \u201cMy first acting coach was tough, ya\u2019ll, but all great mothers are.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMama, you were there for me when no one else was,\u201d Tillman continued. \u201cYour loving kindness stays with me, and this is for you.\u201d<\/p>\n With his win, Tillman becomes the first Black man to ever win Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama. According to Variety<\/a>, it was the only acting category that had yet to honor a Black performer in the award show\u2019s 77-year history.
