It\u2019s (almost) time for Mariah Carey to defrost and for the holiday season to begin. In the meantime, the songstress has made a major announcement.<\/p>\n
The elusive chanteuse will be decking the halls of Las Vegas for a limited-time residency at the Dolby Live at Park MGM.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe festive run of\u00a010 magical performances\u00a0will take place from\u00a0<\/strong>Nov. 28 through Dec. 13,\u00a0<\/strong>transforming the Strip into a winter wonderland filled with holiday hits, sparkle and\u00a0Carey\u2019s legendary vocals,\u201d the announcement from Live Nation explained. \u201cThe shows follow her critically acclaimed residency, \u2018Mariah\u00a0Carey: The Celebration of Mimi Live in Las Vegas\u2019 at Dolby Live in 2024 and 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n The singer also posted the announcement on Instagram <\/a>Monday morning.<\/p>\n \u201cExcited to bring Christmastime to the Dolby Live at Park MGM in Vegas!\u201d the caption said.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Tickets will go on sale Sept. 20 at 10:00 a.m. PST.<\/p>\n Presales start on Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. for Citi and AAdvantage customers. Artist presales start on Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. PST.<\/p>\n Members of MGM Rewards, MGM Resorts\u2019 loyalty rewards program, as well as Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers, will receive access to a pre-sale\u00a0beginning\u00a0Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. PST. All pre-sales will end Sept. 19 at 10 p.m. PST.<\/p>\n Tickets can be purchased online at\u00a0ticketmaster.com\/MariahVegas<\/a>. All shows are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n Both Carey and Live Nation Las Vegas will be donating $1 if every ticket sold to the show to The Fresh Air Fund\u2019s Camp\u00a0Mariah.<\/p>\n \u201cCamp\u00a0Mariah\u00a0is the summer component of the\u00a0year-round\u00a0Career Awareness Program.\u00a0Children, ages 11-15,\u00a0attend Camp\u00a0Mariah\u00a0for three weeks each summer.\u00a0Campers explore their interests in classes like film, photography, fashion, culinary arts, debate and international relations,\u201d the release said. \u201cA careers class helps campers create resumes and cover letters and conduct mock interviews. Campers also play team sports, swim every day and explore the outdoors in environmental science class.\u201d<\/p>\n This year is a busy one for the singer.<\/p>\n The songwriter\u2019s highly anticipated 16th studio album, \u201cHere for It All,\u201d is set to be released on Sept. 26.
