AEG Presents<\/a> will launch Roundhay Festival<\/a> in Leeds (UK) next summer, marking its expansion into northern England\u2019s festival circuit.<\/p>\n The festival, sponsored by American<\/b> Express<\/b>, will take place at Roundhay Park starting July 4, 2026, with Lewis<\/b> Capaldi<\/b> confirmed as the first-ever headliner. The Scottish singer\u2019s recent comeback tour sold out 17 UK arenas this year, with 200,000 tickets sold.<\/p>\n AEG, which operates Coachella<\/b> and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival<\/b>, is also behind London\u2019s BST Hyde Park<\/b>, All Points East<\/b>, Forwards<\/b> Festival<\/b> and LIDO<\/b>, which together contribute over GBP \u00a345 million<\/b> (USD $61 million)\u00a0 <\/span>to local economies annually.<\/p>\n The festival operator selected the 700-acre Roundhay Park in Leeds, which has hosted legendary acts like The Rolling Stones <\/b>(1982), Genesis<\/b> (1987), Madonna<\/b> (1987), Michael<\/b> Jackson<\/b> (1988), U2<\/b> (1997) and Ed<\/b> Sheeran<\/b> (2019).<\/p>\n Jim King<\/b>, CEO of AEG Presents <\/b>UK <\/b>and European Festivals, said: \u201cEveryone at AEG is thrilled to announce the launch of the Roundhay Festival in Leeds.
