Clipse<\/a> continued their momentous comeback run on Saturday, September 13th, becoming\u00a0the first rap act to perform at the Vatican City. Watch a replay below.<\/p>\n

The Voices of Fire Choir backed Clipse as Pusha T and Malice\u00a0performed the most church-friendly song from their catalog: \u201cThe Birds Don\u2019t Sing.\u201d<\/a> With featured artist John Legend on hand, the brothers Thornton bared their souls about the tragic losses of their parents to a massive crowd of over 253,000 people in St. Peter\u2019s Square.<\/p>\n

It was all part of \u201cGrace for the World,\u201d a concert co-directed by Clipse\u2019s longtime collaborator\u00a0Pharrell Williams. The event celebrated the 2025 Jubilee and closed out the third annual World Meeting on Human Fraternity<\/a>, described in a press release as two days of \u201cspiritual and cultural initiatives, to celebrate the strength of fraternity, offer the world a symbolic embrace, and renew the collective commitment to the protection of Creation.\u201d<\/p>\n

At one point during the evening, Williams shared a message of unity: \u201cIn this historic moment, I ask you to choose grace. Choose curiosity. Choose them until they become contagious. Together, we will flood the world with light and love.\u201d<\/p>\n
