Lil Nas X<\/strong><\/a> has entered treatment after he was arrested and charged with four felony counts last month.<\/p>\n

The rapper, 26, has sought care at an undisclosed facility outside of California, his lawyer confirmed on Monday, September 15, according to Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cDefendant is allowed to remain out of state as long as he remains in treatment,\u201d Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Shellie Samuels<\/strong> said, noting that if Lil Nas X\u2019s \u201ctreatment changes and he becomes outpatient, then we\u2019ll talk.\u201d<\/p>\n

The details surrounding Lil Nas X\u2019s care are sealed, and the next hearing has been set for November, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n

Lil Nas X\u2019s lawyer Drew Findling<\/strong> gave an update on his client after the hearing.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou heard the \u2018treatment\u2019 word. We\u2019re doing what is best for Montero from a personal standpoint and a professional standpoint, but most importantly, for his well-being,\u201d Findling said outside the courthouse, as seen in a video shared via X<\/a>. \u201cHe is surrounded by an amazing family, an amazing team of people that care about him and love him. And we\u2019re just addressing those issues. It\u2019s really as simple as that. He\u2019s had a great life, and he\u2019ll continue to have a great life. This is a bump that he\u2019s going to get over.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lil Nas X (born Montero Lamar Hill) was arrested and hospitalized on August 21 after he was found roaming in his underwear on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles. He allegedly attempted to batter an officer when confronted by authorities.<\/p>\n

The L.A. County District Attorney charged the \u201cIndustry Baby\u201d rapper with four felonies<\/a>, including three counts of battery on a police officer and one count of resisting arrest, on August 25. Lil Nas X pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n

Lil Nas X\u2019s father, Robert Stafford<\/strong>, denied that his son was using \u201cillegal drugs\u201d<\/a> prior to his arrest while speaking to reporters on August 25. He also said that Lil Nas X was \u201cin good spirits\u201d and doing \u201calright\u201d following his arrest.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s very remorseful for what happened, but it can happen to any family. He\u2019s going to get the help that he needs,\u201d Stafford said. \u201cAnd just keep him in your prayers. Give him the same grace and mercy that God gives everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stafford later reflected on his emotional visit to his son<\/a> in an August 29 interview with London\u2019s The Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went to visit him in jail and as soon as I walked through that door, I couldn\u2019t do anything but cry,\u201d he said. \u201cTo see my baby boy on the other side of that glass. We shed tears with each other for a minute. And I had to tell him that \u2018what you\u2019re going through is normal.\u2019 We all have breakdowns every now and then, but the difference is, yours get played out in the public eye.\u201d<\/p>\n
