On Sept. 12, King wrote a message to his followers on X to apologize for claiming the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk<\/a> “advocated stoning gays.” The activist was fatally shot on Sept. 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University in front of a crowd of 3,000 people. In a now-deleted post, the horror author made the allegation in reference to Kirk’s comments on his podcast, which were taken out of context.<\/p>\n
