Demi Lovato<\/a> is jumping into the deep end of her new music era with the announcement of a new album arriving this fall.<\/p>\n The singer-songwriter revealed on Monday (Sept. 15) that their ninth studio LP, It\u2019s Not That Deep, will drop on Oct. 24, sharing the project\u2019s cover and a few remarks on Instagram. \u201cthis music is a reflection of where i am now,\u201d Lovato wrote triumphantly. \u201cso proud of all the work I\u2019ve done, and now, it\u2019s time to celebrate and have some fun!!!\u201d<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n On the front of It\u2019s Not That Deep \u2014 which Lovato wrote is the \u201ccover art of my dreams\u201d in her post \u2014 the vocalist stands nude, covered by a pink dress still on its hanger as more than a dozen people go about their business in a confusing scene that unfolds around the star. A pair of men play chess, one little boy runs with a soccer ball in his arms, and one woman places a pair of headphones over a man\u2019s ears.<\/p>\n \u201cwe created the most beautifully chaotic scene surrounding me, and you know i had to lock the f\u2013k in,\u201d Lovato wrote of the artwork. \u201cand thank you to my lovatics \u2014 i love you and i\u2019ll never let you go.\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s Not That Deep will mark the Camp Rock alum\u2019s first proper album since 2022\u2019s Holy Fvck, which reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200<\/a>. While that LP was distinctly rock-inspired, Lovato is reportedly pivoting back<\/a> to dance-pop on their latest album, as evidenced by lead single \u201cFast\u201d and follow-up track \u201cHere All Night.\u201d<\/p>\n The project will also mark Lovato\u2019s first album since marrying husband Jordan \u201cJutes\u201d Lutes, with whom she collaborated on tracks on Holy Fvck.
