Aerosmith<\/a> and Yungblud’s\u00a0team-up wasn’t limited to last weekend’s Ozzy Osbourne tribute<\/a> at the MTV VMAs. The classic rock legends and the young punk star are teasing a new collaborative song titled “My Only Angel,” which is available to presave<\/a> now.<\/p>\n Both artists teased “My Only Angel” on social media on Monday with a clip of Steven Tyler<\/a> and Yungblud singing in\u00a0a vocal booth together, which you can watch below.<\/p>\n “Will you cry if I call you my angel?<\/em>” both singers wail. “Gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta leave you one more time<\/em>.”<\/p>\n READ MORE:<\/strong> Top 20 Aerosmith Songs<\/a><\/p>\n When the music ends, Yungblud kisses Tyler on the cheek as the elder singer exclaims, “Nice! Fuckin’ A!”<\/p>\n “My Only Angel” will mark the first new music from Aerosmith since the release of their 2012 studio album\u00a0Music From Another Dimension!<\/em><\/a> It will also be their first\u00a0big move since cancelling their Peace Out farewell tour and retiring from the road<\/a> last summer due to a vocal injury<\/a> Tyler sustained at the beginning of the trek in 2023<\/p>\n Tyler has made brief, sporadic onstage appearances since then, notably performing at Ozzy Osbourne’s Back to the Beginning<\/a> farewell show on July 5, where he sang “Train Kept A-Rollin’,” “Walk This Way” and Led Zeppelin<\/a>‘s “Whole Lotta Love.” Yungblud\u00a0performed at the same event,\u00a0delivering a show-stealing rendition of Black Sabbath<\/a>‘s “Changes.”<\/p>\n Both artists reprised their roles at\u00a0the VMAs last weekend, taking part in an Ozzy tribute alongside Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry<\/a> and Extreme<\/a> guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, among others. Yungblud sang snippets of “Crazy Train” and “Changes” before joining Tyler and Perry for a\u00a0heartfelt version of Ozzy’s “Mama, I’m Coming Home.”<\/p>\n Any worst-to-best ranking of\u00a0Aerosmith\u00a0must deal with two distinct eras: their sleazy ’70s work and the slicker, more successful ’80s comeback.
