\u201cThese are really dangerous, tragic times,\u201d \u201cThe Office\u201d star said in a video shared on his Instagram account<\/a> over the weekend. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI wanted to address the recent assassination-slash-murder of Charlie Kirk,\u201d the actor added. \u201cI didn\u2019t always agree with him, but this whole idea of \u2018I\u2019m going to kill someone that I disagree with\u2019 is disgusting and dangerous and our hearts go out to him, his soul, his wife, his kids and all of his family and supporters.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Wilson said that Kirk was \u201ca courageous man, actually.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cHe was unafraid to speak his truth and would go often into hostile environments in order to do that. How many of us have that same courage?\u201d Wilson asked his followers. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cA lot of people have been saying, \u2018Hey \u2015 we need to bring the temperature down.\u2019 And certainly that\u2019s true in the short term,\u201d he said, but also urged people \u201cto go deeper than that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cWe need to build bridges of love and unity, especially between those we disagree with,\u201d Wilson explained. \u201cAs Arthur Brooks says, we need to learn how to disagree better, and still know that we all love our country, and we all want to build a better tomorrow. We just have very different ideas of how to do that.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
