Stephen Colbert<\/strong> is fully concentrated on the final months<\/a> of The Late Show.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n On Sunday, September 14, the late-night host, 61, spoke to People<\/em><\/a> after the Emmy Awards \u2014 where he took home the win for Outstanding Talk Series \u2014 and shared that he isn\u2019t thinking too much about what happens after the hit show ends.<\/p>\n \u201cI love what we do, and I want to go to work on Tuesday and for the next nine months with these people and work hard to have fun,\u201d he told the outlet.<\/p>\n \u201cWe do the show with each other, we do the show for each other every day,\u201d he continued. \u201cAnd I have the privilege and responsibility of that day to share with the audience what we did. And I love it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I know it\u2019s coming to the end in May, but I\u2019m going to savor every day of it,\u201d the comedian added. \u201cI want to land this plane. Absolutely beautiful. And I got nothing else on my mind.\u201d<\/p>\n However, the TV personality did jokingly make some remarks about finding work on Sunday. While presenting at the Emmys, he brought out a headshot of himself from decades ago and handed Harrison Ford<\/strong> his resume.<\/p>\n As the National Enquirer<\/em> previously reported<\/a>, it was announced in July that Colbert\u2019s show will come to an end after May 2026.
