Appearing on the Emmys<\/a> red carpet Sunday before he won an award for SNL<\/a>\u2019s 50th anniversary special, the producer was asked by \u201cEntertainment Tonight\u201d host Nischelle Turner about the changes. \u201cWhat decision goes into that?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe show has always brought people in from new, different ages and different generations, and it has to, it\u2019s how it revives itself,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s always hard when people leave, but there\u2019s a time for that. And our audiences always stay relatively young, more so now with TikTok.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cChange is good,\u201d he continued. \u201cAnd the people we\u2019re bringing in, I\u2019m really excited about.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
