Five months after sharing his amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) diagnosis<\/a>, the\u00a0Grey’s Anatomy<\/em> alum was set to serve as a presenter for the 2025 Emmys<\/a>. However,\u00a0the 52-year-old didn’t arrive at the Sept. 14 award show, and his former costar Jesse Williams<\/strong> presented solo at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Eric\u2014who shares kids\u00a0Billie Beatrice<\/strong>, 15, and\u00a0Georgia Geraldine<\/strong>, 13, with Rebecca Gayheart<\/strong><\/a>\u2014opened up about his health battle, noting he was “grateful to have” his family by his side as they navigated this next chapter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The actor\u2014who will return to Euphoria<\/em>\u2019s third season as <\/em>Nate Jacobs’ dad Cal Jacobs\u2014also shared that in addition to his well-being, his focus would remain on his upcoming projects.<\/p>\n
