Prince Harry<\/strong> shared a telling remark about reconciliation following the end of his 19-month estrangement with King Charles III. <\/strong><\/p>\n

In an interview with The Guardian<\/a><\/em> from Kyiv, Ukraine,<\/a> published on Sunday, September 14, the Duke of Sussex, 41, declared, \u201cYou cannot have reconciliation before you have truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

The tensions between Harry and the 76-year-old sovereign seem to have cooled down<\/a>, as he said that this year, \u201cthe focus really has to be on my dad.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Star<\/em> previously reported<\/a>, on September 10, Harry enjoyed a private tea with the King for approximately 50 minutes while in London, according to the BBC<\/a><\/em>. However, he did not meet with his brother, Prince William<\/strong>, on his trip.<\/p>\n

When asked whether Harry wants to bring his and wife Meghan Markle\u2019s<\/strong> children, Archie<\/strong>, 6, and Lilibet<\/strong>, 4, to the UK and visit there more often<\/a>, he answered, \u201cYes I would,\u201d noting to The Guardian<\/em>, \u201cThis week has definitely brought that closer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry also addressed his reasoning behind writing his 2023 memoir Spare<\/em>, in which he shared intimate details about his life and the royal family.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know that [speaking out] annoys some people and it goes against the narrative. The book? It was a series of corrections to stories already out there,\u201d he explained. \u201cOne point of view had been put out and it needed to be corrected.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public,\u201d he continued. \u201cIt was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear.\u201d<\/p>\n
