Bindi Irwin<\/b> just shared some sweet photos on he<\/span>r <\/span>Instagram page<\/span><\/a> showing her family rallying behind her brother, <\/span>Robert Irwin<\/b>, as he begins his <\/span>Dancing with the Stars<\/span><\/i> journey.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSunny days in LA. Getting ready to cheer for<\/span> @robertirwinphotography<\/span><\/a> on September 16th when<\/span> @dancingwiththestars<\/span><\/a> premieres!\u201d Bindi captioned the post, which featured a photo of her, her husband <\/span>Chandler Powell<\/b> and their daughter, Grace as they playfully pretended to hold up a massive rock.<\/span><\/p>\n Irwin also posted a <\/span>video<\/span><\/a> on Sunday, September 14 with her brother and dance partner, <\/span>Witney Carson<\/b> where they showed off a fun handshake they cleverly named, the \u201cCroc and Roll\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n The daughter of the late<\/span> Steve Irwin<\/b><\/a> \u2014 the beloved wildlife expert known as the \u201cCrocodile Hunter\u201d \u2014 also was spotted with her mom,<\/span> Terri Irwin<\/b><\/a>. <\/span>Irwin rose to international fame through his hit TV series <\/span>The Crocodile Hunter<\/span><\/i>, where his fearless encounters with wildlife and larger-than-life personality turned him into a global icon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In an interview with<\/span> People<\/span><\/i><\/a> last week, Robert, 21, explained why he decided to join the show: \u201cI wanted to do this because I was inspired by my sister Bindi, who won <\/span>Dancing with the Stars<\/span><\/i> 10 years ago. I remember coming to every live taping to watch her and thinking, \u2018One day I have to do this.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n He admitted that while he may not be the most skilled dancer, \u201cI\u2019ve got the passion!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201c<\/span>Dancing with the Stars<\/span><\/i> scares me more than anything else I\u2019ve ever done! I\u2019ve never attempted anything close to dancing. I guess you could say that avoiding a crocodile trying to eat you requires footwork, but it\u2019s different,\u201d he joked.<\/span><\/p>\n The Australian conservationist was just 2 years old when his father died in a<\/span> tragic accident<\/span><\/a>. <\/span>On Sept. 4, 2006, the beloved wildlife activist was fatally injured when a stingray\u2019s barb pierced his chest while he was filming at Batt Reef off the coast of Australia.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI think losing someone as important as him at such a young age solidified the idea that life is fragile,\u201d Robert told<\/span> People<\/span><\/i>. \u201cWe don\u2019t know what tomorrow holds, so you have to take calculated risks, you have to have fun, enjoy what you\u2019re doing, and give everything 100 percent.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
