After more than a decade of waiting, Karnivool<\/a> fans can finally breathe: the Perth prog titans have announced their long-anticipated fourth studio album, In Verses<\/em>, set for release on 6th February 2026 via Cymatic Records \/ Sony Music.<\/p>\n To mark the occasion, the band have dropped brand new single dubbed \u2018Aozora\u2019, a live favourite from the band\u2019s recent Aussie tour inspired by the Japanese word for \u201cblue sky\u201d. Frenetic and unrelenting, the track dives into themes of escape and the search for freedom.<\/p>\n \u201cThe whole theme for that song is escaping, or waiting to escape,\u201d frontman Ian Kenny explains. \u201cTrying to find freedom amongst the complications of just being human. We\u2019re so weird, you know?
