Speaking at ABC\u2019s recent showcase, the actor described \u201cShifting Gears<\/a>\u201d as \u201cwell-written\u201d and \u201cgenuinely funny,\u201d adding that returning to multi-cam comedy with Tim Allen<\/a> and Kat Dennings<\/a> \u201cfeels good.\u201d Elfman, who recurred in Season 1 as Eve, a dance instructor who trades barbs and sparks with Allen\u2019s Matt across the street from his auto restoration shop, confirmed she\u2019s back when the show returns. The new season premieres Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 8\/7c on ABC.<\/p>\n
