A new group of competitors is set to samba into the ballroom for Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars<\/span><\/strong>. A diverse cast, including actor Corey Feldman<\/span>, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles<\/span>, and conservationist Robert Irwin<\/span>, is set to show off their moves on DWTS. And while I can\u2019t wait to see them shine, I wish that Season 27 Mirrorball winner Bobby Bones<\/span><\/strong> wasn\u2019t trying to steal their thunder.<\/p>\n

The cast for Season 34<\/a> has many celebrities with zero dance experience, like The Traitors<\/span> winner Dylan Efron<\/span> and actress Danielle Fishel. Bobby was in that exact situation, and he won the Mirrorball with his partner, Sharna Burgess<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Bobby Bones spent more time with his DWTS pro partner than was allowed<\/h2>\n

Of course, Bobby was one of the most controversial DWTS winners<\/a> \u2013 ever. Somehow, even with continuous low scores and poor dance moves, his fans helped him win. As a result, the voting and judging rules were changed for the next season.<\/p>\n

Recently, Bobby was a guest on the Trading Secrets podcast, hosted by Jason Tartick<\/span>. \u201cI cheated, in the way of they give you a limited amount of time with your partner,\u201d Bobby explained. \u201cLike, four hours a day, they say.\u201d<\/p>\n

The popular radio host continued, \u201cSo we would do our four, I would record the session and then go by myself and rent a studio myself and train myself. Like, illegally spent time over \u2026 because I was so far behind everybody else.\u201d There should be no cheating in ballroom!<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t in any way polarizing on the show, other than I sucked,\u201d he said. \u201cI didn\u2019t run out and [say], like, \u2018I\u2019m the best.’\u201d Meanwhile, Bobby also faced criticism from those who were part of DWTS.<\/p>\n

In 2024, current host and former judge Julianne Hough<\/span> stated that Bobby shouldn\u2019t have taken home the Mirrorball because he was\u00a0\u201cnot the best dancer<\/a>.\u201d Welp, I guess in this case, cheating did pay off.<\/p>\n

Dancing with the Stars<\/a>\u00a0Season 34 premieres on Tuesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. It will stream on Hulu the next day.<\/p>\n
