Cardi B has revealed that Janet Jackson, Selena Gomez and Lizzo will feature on her new album Am I the Drama?.<\/p>\n
\nThe WAP rapper teamed up with Spotify on Monday (15.09.25) to reveal the other artists who will feature on her long-awaited second album that will be released on Friday (19.09.25).<\/p>\n
\nCardi asked on social media: “WHO ELSE IS THE DRAMA?”<\/p>\n
\nThe list of collaborators also includes Meghan Thee Stallion, Kehlani and Tyla.<\/p>\n
\nCardi is yet to reveal the track list for the record but it is set to feature plenty of reconnections after she featured with Kehlani on the track Ring from her 2018 debut album Invasion of Privacy.<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, the Bodak Yellow rapper collaborated with Selena on DJ Snake’s viral hit Taki Taki in 2018 and teamed up with Lizzo for Rumors in 2021.<\/p>\n
\nCardi has been ramping up promotion for her new album in recent weeks as she has taken to the streets of New York ahead of the record’s release.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the 32-year-old star said: “I am so overwhelmed… It’s like I’m pushing another baby.<\/p>\n
\n“It was completely completed and this is what’s missing out there. I touch on everything I wanted to touch.”<\/p>\n
\nCardi recently explained that she waited seven years to release her second album as she is “very picky”.<\/p>\n
\nThe Money rapper told Billboard: “I always knew that I was going to drop a second album, I just didn\u2019t have a project well put together.<\/p>\n
\n“My fans be like: ‘Oh, you should have put a project together when WAP and Up was out’ [in 2020 and 2021 respectively] but I only had four records that I liked.<\/p>\n
\n“I didn\u2019t have an album done around that time. I\u2019m not the kind of person that\u2019s going to lock in in two months and complete an album. I\u2019m very picky with my music.”<\/p>\n
\nCardi continued: “I want to put out this whole project because I have a lot of songs. I recorded 60 songs. Every other day, I\u2019m a different person, I change my mind [about everything]. <\/p>\n
\n“My team is always like: ‘I hope you don\u2019t change your mind about your songs.’ I\u2019m like: ‘Nope. I\u2019m settled.'”<\/p>\n
\nShe also insists that she makes more money from live shows compared to albums but didn’t want to hurry her second release in order to cash in with a tour.<\/p>\n
\nThe star explained: “A lot of people say I got comfortable because I make money, but the most money I make is when I go and do shows… <\/p>\n
\n“I could rush and put out music like it\u2019s nothing and then pick up millions of dollars per show, but it\u2019s not about that. I want the music to be great. I want it to be amazing.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
