Director James Gunn announced that Superman will start streaming on HBO Max on Friday, September 19.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This puts the film on HBO Max just a little over two months after its theatrical release. Its message about hope and kindness seems to have resonated with people living in such a cynical time.
