Scrubs<\/a><\/em> gets closer to its TV return each passing day, but the latest update from star Judy Reyes<\/a> is sure to excite fans eagerly awaiting the revived show\u2019s arrival.<\/p>\n Reyes, who played nurse Carla Espinosa, was confirmed to appear in a recurring capacity in early September, and the star got candid with TV Insider about her looming return. \u201cIt was a thrill. It was very humbling to see the fan reactions to knowing that Carla is definitely gonna be back\u2026 I literally, in the car, just got the script, and we start shooting in October,\u201d Reyes shared.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re building the set, we\u2019ll do a table read sometime later in the week or next week,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s a race to the beginning.\u201d<\/p>\n As for whether Reyes had read the script yet, she hadn\u2019t due to a busy press day, but revealed, \u201cIt\u2019s something that I will sit in bed with a cup of tea and read.\u201d<\/p>\n Reyes currently stars on ABC\u2019s other hit series\u00a0High Potential<\/a><\/em>, in which she plays Selena Soto, head of the crime division at the LAPD. For any fans wondering about how she\u2019s splitting her time, she explained, \u201cBoth of [the shows] are ABC studios, and so finding out that Scrubs<\/em> was a possibility\u2026 they\u2019ve been very accommodating to making both happen.\u201d<\/p>\n She added that \u201cit\u2019s a recurring on Scrubs<\/em>, it\u2019s four episodes, so they\u2019re gonna be really wonderful about making sure I get a chance to do those days when the time comes.\u201d<\/p>\n Reyes revealed that High Potential<\/em> is in the midst of filming its eighth episode this season. Reyes is poised to reprise her\u00a0Scrubs<\/em> role alongside original series stars Zach Braff<\/a>, Donald Faison<\/a>, Sarah Chalke<\/a>, and John C. McGinley<\/a>.
