Exclusive: The Fast & Furious<\/a> franchise\u2019s Tyrese Gibson<\/a> is set to star in Don\u2019t Open the Door<\/a>, a new horror thriller from director Deon Taylor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Plot details are under wraps. The project reunites Gibson<\/a> and Taylor following their work on Black and Blue<\/a>, the 2019 action thriller for Sony<\/a>, where Gibson starred opposite Naomie Harris<\/a> and Frank Grillo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Set to enter production later this year in the West Adams district of South Central Los Angeles, Don\u2019t Open the Door<\/a> will also launch a graphic novel-inspired universe that pushes the story beyond the screen.<\/p>\n

The project is co-financed and produced by Tommy Oliver<\/a> and Gerren Crochet<\/a> of Confluential Films<\/a> under its new horror imprint New Fear Unlocked, alongside Roxanne Avent Taylor<\/a> and Omar Joseph<\/a> for Hidden Empire.<\/p>\n
