When Dancing With the Stars<\/em> kicks off Season 34 on Tuesday, Sept. 16, there will be a notable absence on the judging panel.<\/p>\n

Carrie Ann Inaba, who has served as a judge for the entirety of the ABC competition series\u2019 run, took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce that she will miss tonight\u2019s season opener due to illness.\u00a0\u201cI wanted to share that I will not be at the show tonight as I am feeling quite under the weather,\u201d Inaba explained.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, Inaba is feeling positive about her recovery and her ability to soon rejoin fellow judges Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. \u201cI\u2019m resting up and can\u2019t wait to be back next week in good health,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Inaba concluded her post by cheering on the new competitors, which include stars like \u201980s icon Corey Feldman, Boy Meets World <\/em>actress Danielle Fishel and Olympian gymnast Jordan Chiles. (Check out the full cast list<\/a>.) \u201cIn the meantime, I wish all the contestants the very best of luck. I\u2019ll be cheering you on from home. According to TVLine<\/a>, no one will sub in for Inaba, meaning Hough and Tonioli will be the only judges for the season premiere.<\/p>\n

Inaba isn\u2019t the only familiar face who will be missing from the new season: While Inaba\u2019s absence is likely just temporary, longtime DWTS<\/em> pro dancer Sasha Farber is not part of the competition<\/a> this time around. After the Season 34 celeb and pro pairings<\/a> were announced on Sept. 3, Farber posted an Instagram Story in which he vaguely addressed the fact that he wasn\u2019t among the names.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a beautiful day today,\u201d Farber said while walking shirtless the clip. \u201cGuys, the Dancing With the Stars<\/em> cast announcement was today. Wow, so many good names. Who are you going to vote for? I mean, I know who I\u2019m going to vote for. I know who you\u2019re not going to vote for, that\u2019s me. But, that\u2019s OK.\u201d<\/p>\n

Farber went on to thank his fans, who immediately took note of his glaring omission from the cast list. \u201cThank you so much for all your incredible messages. I read them all,\u201d he continued. \u201cI see it all. I definitely don\u2019t deserve you because you guys are amazing. I love you. Thank you so much. This is going to be quite a season because there\u2019s so many showrunners. Like, who\u2019s gonna win? Anyone could win. This is gonna be great, and I can\u2019t wait to cheer. Love you all.\u201d<\/p>\n
