Hagler was a decorated World War II US Marine Corps Veteran who gallantly fought in Iwo Jima and the Pacific theater and he was once the commander of www.VFW1123.org, the largest VFW post in Solano County. In April, Hagler became a centenarian and he was presented with federal, state, county, and city certificates of recognition.
