Jamie Lee Curtis<\/a> cried as she discussed the murder of Charlie Kirk<\/a> on a podcast released Monday, saying she hoped the right-wing activist \u201cfelt connected to his faith\u201d at the moment he died.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI\u2019m going to bring something up with you just because it\u2019s front of mind,\u201d she said. \u201cCharlie Crist was killed two days ago.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n After Maron corrected her slip of the tongue, Curtis said, \u201cI just called him Crist, I think, because of Christ, because of his deep, deep belief.\u201d (Charlie Crist was the name of a Florida governor.)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Her voice cracked as she went on about Kirk.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI disagreed with him on almost every point I ever heard him say, but I believe he was a man of faith, and I hope in that moment when he died, that he felt connected to his faith,\u201d she said, sobbing. \u201cEven though … his ideas were abhorrent to me, I still believe he\u2019s a father and a husband and a man of faith.
