Malcolm-Jamal Warner\u2019s<\/strong> mother, Pamela Warner,<\/strong> is speaking out following her son\u2019s tragic passing.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, September 16, Pamela appeared on Good Morning America<\/em><\/a> for an interview with Robin Roberts<\/strong>, who brought up how the grieving mother screamed so loud when she learned The Cosby Show<\/em> alum died that her neighbors in the cul-de-sac ran over.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was from the bottom of my soul,\u201d Pamela recalled. \u201cAnd what came up and what came out was huge. It was an indescribable pain that resonated throughout my body.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pamela also revealed how the late actor\u2019s 8-year-old daughter is handling the loss.<\/p>\n

\u201cChildren process differently,\u201d Pamela remarked. \u201cShe watched them try to resuscitate him, so she saw that, and I know that\u2019s awfully, awfully traumatic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe loved her father dearly,\u201d Pamela added. \u201cShe adored papa \u2014 he was papa.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Globe<\/em> previously reported<\/a>, Malcolm-Jamal accidentally drowned while in Limon, Costa Rica, at 54 years old. Pamela explained he was there with his wife and daughter for an \u201cimmersion trip\u201d for the little girl, who, despite some initial reports, Pamela claimed was \u201cnot in the water\u201d when he perished.<\/p>\n

Rather, Malcolm-Jamal \u201cwas with another gentleman\u201d who \u201cwas a more experienced swimmer,\u201d and \u201cwas able to rescue himself.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe spiritual part of it was \u2014 that was his time, and that was the manner in which he was to transition,\u201d she told Roberts, 64. \u201cThis is what I believe and what I feel.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
