As Morgan taps into her high IQ, she theorizes that the Game Maker has something to do with the crime, but the LAPD is skeptical, and she feels as if they don\u2019t believe her when she says the mystery man is toying with her life and her family\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Although the team can\u2019t entirely deny Morgan\u2019s accusation, the mystery continues to unfurl just as the man in question turns himself in at the end of the episode, revealing that he believes they\u2019re looking for him. Is there a layer to that which we haven\u2019t uncovered?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><strong>Judy Reyes:<\/strong> I think there is absolutely. I think in the first season, she went ahead and took the chance from the very beginning to bring her on, knowing she had no experience, but she has this innate ability and this supreme intelligence to help out. And now, by the end of the episode, her life is in danger, her children\u2019s lives are in danger, and there\u2019s no way that she\u2019s not going to feel like the burden is on her to protect her and her team.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><strong>Morgan shows frustration over the fact that the team doesn\u2019t seem to believe her theory about the Game Maker. Does Soto believe her?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">She doesn\u2019t believe her, but sometimes the way she ends up in these conclusions, it leads to questions which is a police officer\u2019s job, it\u2019s a cop\u2019s job to ask all those questions and I guess the burden is that Morgan seems to always have the answer they\u2019re totally unconventional but that\u2019s why she brought her in to lead her down the paths that I think formally trained people don\u2019t have the temerity to walk down.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><strong>Soto and Karadec share a nice moment of connection in this episode. Will we see her bond more with the team this season? How was it working on that scene with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/daniel-sunjata\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Daniel Sunjata;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Daniel Sunjata<\/a>?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">I think they\u2019ll definitely tease a little bit more of Soto\u2019s history with the Karadec, and working with Daniel is terrific. He\u2019s an actor\u2019s actor, you know? He\u2019s a hardcore preparer; he appreciates the sense of presence when you\u2019re doing a scene. He\u2019s terrific. I have a lot of fun with it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><strong>We have the introduction of Mekhi Phifer as Roman. Is that as cut and dry as it appears?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It\u2019s never as cut and dry as it appears\u2026 There are\u00a0questions that he has, and we\u2019ll see how he leads us down that path.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><strong>The Game Maker turns himself in to the police at the end of the episode and is scarily calm. What can you tease about that cliffhanger?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The threats are really always calm people, right? It\u2019s always the nice ones that shock us with all kinds of danger. So I know that we\u2019ll see a lot more of that.
