Scott Clifton<\/span><\/strong>, who plays Liam Spencer<\/strong>, spoke his mind about his character\u2019s nature in The Bold and the Beautiful<\/strong><\/a>. Clifton spoke about his personal and professional lives. Among the many discussions the trio had on the episode, Clifton took the opportunity to talk about his character, Liam, from The Bold and the Beautiful.<\/p>\n When Budig, who plays Taylor Hayes on the show, asks Clifton, \u201cHow do you feel about like bouncing between the two [Hope Logan and Steffy Forrester] of them?\u201d<\/p>\n Clifton responds by admitting, \u201cWe have a job to do, but I hate that. But that doesn\u2019t mean I won\u2019t do it.\u201d<\/p>\n The 40-year-old actor continued saying, \u201cI think that we\u2019re on the precipice with soaps, it\u2019s like adapt or die, right?\u201d. Clifton further added, \u201cCulturally, I think, 20, 30 years ago, it was sexy and attractive for a man to be torn between two women who were fawning over him and him having to go back and forth. It was the Ridge, Brooke, and Taylor thing.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat was like soap bread and butter for a really long time,\u201d the actor added. \u201cBut I don\u2019t think we live in that world anymore.
