The makers of Gen V <\/strong><\/a> paid tribute to Chance Perdomo<\/strong>, the actor who played Andre Anderson in Season 1. Fans of the first season likely noticed that Andre was not featured in the Gen V season 2 trailer. Gen V Season 2 premiered on September 17, 2025, following the events of the Season 1 finale. In the season\u2019s first episode, \u201cNew Year, New U\u201d, the show paid tribute to Chance Perdomo<\/a> with \u201cFor Chance\u201d right after the recap.<\/p>\n

Perdomo died in a tragic motorcycle accident in March 2024. It occurred while he was traveling through Upstate New York to Toronto to shoot the new season of Gen V. The authorities believe that his accident occurred between late March 29 and early March 30, 2024. Right at the beginning of Season 2\u2019s first episode, a truck transports Jordan Li and Emma Myers to an unknown location. When they reach the destination, the show reveals that the truck has taken them back to the Godolkin University campus. When the door opened, Cate Dunlap welcomed them. Cate noticed that Andre was missing from the truck and asked them where he was. Instead of replying with an answer, Jordan asked her to read his mind instead.<\/p>\n

While there is no visual flashback to the scene, viewers can hear the audio of a confrontation. It involved gunshots and a female voice, probably Emma, saying, \u201cWe need to go back.\u201d This audio track could be hinting that the group tried to escape at one point, and failed, ending with Andre\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
