Amanda Seyfried<\/strong><\/a> is sharing her feelings about Charlie Kirk<\/strong> after his assassination last week.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was hateful,\u201d Seyfried, 39, wrote in the comments section of a Tuesday, September 16, Instagram video<\/a> from the account @So.Informed, which pointed out controversial statements made by Kirk about abortion, immigration, gay people, trans rights and more throughout his career.<\/p>\n \u201c\u2018Ask yourself, why is exposing the flaws of MLK\u2019s life and character \u2014 something he said we should judge others by \u2014 so controversial?\u2019 \u2013 Charlie Kirk, January 2024,\u201d the account captioned the post.<\/p>\n Seyfried also took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to seemingly react to news of the conservative political activist\u2019s death, sharing a post that read, \u201cYou can\u2019t invite violence to the dinner table and be shocked when it starts eating.\u201d<\/p>\n Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, a right-wing conservative non-profit credited for helping President Donald Trump<\/strong> win the 2024 presidential election,, was on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on Wednesday, September 10, to speak at an event when he was shot and killed at the age of 31. Police later identified Tyler Robinson as Kirk\u2019s alleged shooter on Friday, September 12. He is currently being held in police custody and without bail at Utah County Jail.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, September 16, prosecutors formally charged Robinson with seven counts in connection with Kirk\u2019s death, announcing that they will seek the death penalty in the case.<\/p>\n Charlie is survived by his wife, Erika Kirk<\/strong>, and their two children, as son and a daughter. Erika, 36, broke her silence<\/a> on her husband\u2019s death on Friday.<\/p>\n \u201cCharlie loved his children and he loved me with all of his heart and I knew that every day. He made sure I knew that every day,\u201d she said during a livestream on Charlie\u2019s X account. \u201cEvery day he would ask me, \u2018How can I serve you better? How can I be a better husband? How can I be a better father?\u2019 \u2026 He was a such a good man. He still is such a good man. He was the perfect father. He was the perfect husband.\u201d<\/p>\n She later shared a video of herself crying by his open casket<\/a> via Instagram. \u201cThe world is evil. But our Savior. Our Lord. Our God. \u041d\u0435 is so good. I will never have the words. Ever,\u201d she wrote on Friday. \u201cThe sound of this widow weeping echoes throughout this world like a battle cry. I have no idea what any of this means. But baby, I know you do and so does our Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n A memorial for the commentator is also being planned. \u201cBuilding a Legacy, Remembering Charlie Kirk\u201d will be held on Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The venue, home of the NFL\u2019s Arizona Cardinals, can hold as many as 73,000 people.<\/p>\n Seyfried is far from the first celebrity to speak out about Kirk\u2019s death. Jamie Lee Curtis<\/strong> said<\/a> during the Monday episode of Marc Maron\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cWTF\u201d podcast that she was mourning the loss despite disagreeing with \u201calmost every point I ever heard him say.\u201d<\/p>\n
