Who says Demi Lovato<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0isn\u2019t thrilled for Selena Gomez<\/strong><\/a>?<\/p>\n In fact, when the Camp Rock alum was recently asked about her\u00a0Princess Protection Program costar\u2014and whether she heard Selena\u2019s kind words during an appearance on Jake Shane<\/strong>\u2019s podcast<\/a>\u2014Demi gushed over where life has led Selena.<\/p>\n \u201cI heard clips of what she said on the podcast, and it was really, really sweet,\u201d Demi confirmed to Andy Cohen <\/strong>during her Sept. 16 appearance<\/a> on Watch What Happens Live.\u00a0\u201cAnd I couldn\u2019t be happier for her\u2014she\u2019s engaged, and yeah I just wish her the best.\u201d<\/p>\n She also shared her thoughts on Selena\u2019s new album, I Said I Love You First And You Said It Back, which Selena created with her fianc\u00e9 Benny Blanco<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI have listened to the album, really, really great job,\u201d Demi said. \u201cI love the songs on it, \u2018Bluest Flame\u2019 was my song.\u201d<\/p>\n Selena and Demi\u2019s relationship goes back decades, the pair meeting on Barney and Friends in 2001 at 7 years old. Coming up as stars on the Disney Channel at the same time, the pair would go on to star in 2009\u2019s The Princess Protection Program together.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
