DaBaby<\/a>\u00a0is going viral on social media for recreating the recent stabbing on a train in Charlotte for his new music video, “Save Me.” In the real attack, a man by the name of Decarlos Brown allegedly stabbed Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the “Save Me” music video, DaBaby sits next to a recreation of the incident while performing the track. \u201cYou know there\u2019s just some people man, unfortunately, we can\u2019t save \u2018em, you know what I\u2019m saying. I might be one of them,\u201d DaBaby says in the video. \u201cI might be one of them n****s you know, that you can\u2019t save.\u201d The video ends with a screenshot of a GoFundMe page raising money for Zarutska\u2019s family.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fans have been having mixed reactions<\/a>, with many in the YouTube comments section supporting DaBaby. \u201cThe world is falling apart around us and seeing someone who has done wrong taking a stand against\u00a0 this. You are a real one,\u201d one user wrote. Another added: \u201cWhat a video. It\u2019s not even about stopping the attack, it\u2019s about helping someone who needs it the most. Others were more critical of the move. On X (formerly Twitter), one user wrote: \u201cYeah Dababy making a music video on a train while having a guy who looks like the stabber and the Ukrainian girl that got stabbed, probably not a great idea.\u201d One more added: \u201cdababy is actually sick and im actually gonna have to delete this app like n****s really are not well.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As for the stabbing, authorities have since been charged Decarlos Brown with first-degree murder. His sister, Tracey Brown, says he suffers from schizophrenia and deals with hallucinations and paranoia, according to celebrity.land<\/a><\/em>. She told the outlet that Brown claimed Zarutska was reading his mind before he attacked her. \u201cA person that is hearing voices in their head and believes the world is against them, they\u2019re going to break,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I think that night he broke.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
