After sending fans into speculation last week by blacking out all of their social media profiles and posting only the caption “R.I.P.”, gold-certified melodic metalcore veterans Atreyu<\/a><\/strong> have dropped a new update.<\/p>\n

The band shared a follow-up post inviting fans to a special “remembrance” event set for September 17 at midnight. The mysterious gathering can be joined via atreyuisdead.com, where fans are asked to confirm their participation.<\/p>\n

Atreyu<\/strong> have not revealed further details surrounding the nature of the event. Whether this is a dramatic farewell, a symbolic rebirth, or a cryptic marketing campaign for new music remains to be seen \u2014 but the band are clearly leaning into their flair for theatrics. Fans will find out exactly what “Atreyu<\/strong> Is Dead” means when the clock strikes midnight on September 17.<\/p>\n

Though given none of the below tour dates have been cancelled\u2026 I’m sure Atreyu<\/strong> isn’t calling it quits. Atreyu<\/strong> have been announcing tour dates around the world celebrating 21 years of their 2004 record The Curse<\/em>, and are set to bring the tour home this November and December alongside some seriously killer openers.<\/p>\n

The tour features Unearth<\/strong> playing The Oncoming Storm<\/em> in full, Norma Jean<\/strong> playing O God, the Aftermath<\/em> in full, Eighteen Visions<\/strong> playing cuts from Obsession<\/em> and Until The Ink Runs Out<\/em>, He Is Legend<\/strong> playing I Am Hollywood<\/em> in full, and Zero 9:36<\/strong>.
