Good news: Universal has revealed the titles for the two new songs being added to \u201cWicked: For Good\u201d<\/a> ahead of the sequel\u2019s Thanksgiving premiere.<\/p>\n

Ariana Grande will get to sing \u201cThe Girl in the Bubble\u201d as the penultimate track in Act II, while Cynthia Erivo\u2019s song is aptly called \u201cNo Place Like Home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unlike the songs from 2024\u2019s \u201cWicked,\u201d the Oscar-nominated actress\u2019 new tracks will be Oscar eligible for Best Original Song. Director Jon M. Chu had already teased the new additions, but Stephen Schwartz has now chimed in about updating his 2003 stage musical as well. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m especially happy that the soundtrack album for \u2018Wicked: For Good\u2019 has so much new music on it,\u201d Schwartz said in a Wednesday statement. \u201cIn addition to two brand new songs, there is a lot that\u2019s new in several other existing songs.\u00a0So not only listeners coming to the score for the first time, but long-time fans of the original Broadway cast album will have a great deal to discover.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thank goodness.<\/p>\n

Plus, Elphaba and Glinda are still set to perform a handful of songs<\/a> from the musical for a live NBC special airing this fall.<\/p>\n
