Jude Law<\/a> has one condition for appearing in the upcoming The Holiday<\/a><\/strong> TV show from Apple TV+<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Holiday is a 2006 romantic comedy movie written, directed, and produced by Nancy Meyers<\/a>. It stars Cameron Diaz as Amanda Woods, Kate Winslet as Iris Simpkins, Law as Graham Simpkins, Jack Black as Miles Dumont, and Eli Wallach as Arthur Abbott.<\/p>\n Last month, it was reported that Apple TV+ was developing a television show based on The Holiday that is expected to center around new characters. Further plot details were not made available at the time.<\/p>\n On Wednesday\u2019s Today<\/a> show, per Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, Law said about the television show, \u201cYou know, I heard about it. I know nothing about it. Nothing, other than I don\u2019t think I\u2019m in it. I don\u2019t know. I think Nancy wrote to me and said, \u2018Have you heard about this?\u2019 Literally.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked if he\u2019d be open to reprising his role on the series if offered, Law said, \u201cNancy Meyers would have to be involved. She was the magic that brought all that together.\u201d<\/p>\n Meyers, however, was seemingly initially unaware that the show was happening when it was announced. She wrote on her Instagram Story at the time, \u201cNews to me. Imagine my surprise when I opened Instagram and this was the first post I saw.\u201d<\/p>\n The Holiday TV show is being written by Krissie Ducker and Rob Delaney, with Ducker also serving as an executive producer for Left Bank Pictures. A premiere date has not been set and no casting has been announced.<\/p>\n The Holiday movie, meanwhile, is currently available to purchase or rent on digital outlets such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and more.<\/p>\n \u201cTwo women, one from America and one from Britain, swap homes at Christmastime after bad breakups with their boyfriends.
