Viewing it this way is commonly referred to as <em>The Dark Side of the Rainbow<\/em>, I can\u2019t say I was too impressed when I finally got around to it. I love Pink Floyd. I love <em>The Wizard of Oz<\/em>. A quick Google search brings up myriad interviews where Waters makes it clear that the alleged synchronicity is nothing more than cosmic coincidence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Pink Floyd wasn\u2019t watching <em><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.giantfreakinrobot.com\/topic\/the-wizard-of-oz\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:The Wizard of Oz;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">The Wizard of Oz<\/a><\/em> on a loop while working on <em>The Dark Side of the Moon<\/em>. They didn\u2019t subconsciously absorb the film\u2019s beats and write an album around it. By a stroke of dumb luck some transitions land nicely, but it doesn\u2019t take a genius to point out that things that sound alike tend to sync up. The album\u2019s noisy transitions happen to line up with noisy moments in the movie. Who would have thought?<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Wicked Witch of the West\u2019s dialogue overlapping with \u201cUs and Them\u201d is just another example of apophenia\u2013 the human urge to find patterns in randomness. Look hard enough, and you\u2019ll always find connections that were never there.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"mb-4 text-lg font-bold\"><strong>Worth A Watch, But Won\u2019t Blow Your Mind<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">All things considered, <em>The Dark Side of the Rainbow<\/em> is neat \u2026 for about 43 minutes. But it\u2019s not going to melt your brain. Maybe with a couple <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/tv\/articles\/best-stoner-comedy-time-hidden-173320364.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:special brownies;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">special brownies<\/a> and the right lighting you\u2019ll get a kick out of it, but it\u2019s more of a curiosity than a revelation.
