Spoilers below. <\/em><\/p>\n As I write this in the ELLE offices, I\u2019m trying very hard to compose myself after watching the Summer I Turned Pretty<\/em> series finale at my desk. Not only because of the sweet conclusion of Belly Conklin\u2019s story, but also because… I\u2019m not quite sure what to do with myself now that there are no new episodes of this lovably chaotic show to fixate over.<\/p>\n Luckily for me and many other fans<\/a>, TSITP<\/em> is not done yet. Though we won\u2019t be getting a secret bonus episode<\/a>, we will be getting a full-length movie<\/a> to continue\u2014and finally conclude\u2014Belly\u2019s story. Jenny Han is writing and directing the film, too. But before the official news broke, Han subtly hinted at the idea of revisiting the TSITP<\/em> universe during the end credits of the series finale, which premiered today.<\/p>\n First, the credits are played over a slideshow of images of Belly and Conrad celebrating Christmas in Paris, which was not previously seen on the show. They\u2019re all cute and cuddly, opening presents as snow falls outside. Belly even wears a red printed PJ set like she did that one Christmas she and Conrad spent together in the beach house.<\/p>\n Afterwards, a handwritten note from Han<\/a> appears onscreen, thanking fans for their support through the years. She even teased a possible spin-off<\/a> of the show, writing, \u201cMaybe we\u2019ll meet you again one summer in Cousins.\u201d Though she didn\u2019t share any further details, we now know that she was referring to The Summer I Turned Pretty: The Movie.<\/em> Read Han\u2019s full note below.<\/p>\n \u201cThank you from the bottom of my heart for the love you\u2019ve shown The Summer I Turned Pretty<\/em> all these years.
