Apple TV+ didn\u2019t have to look very far to find the the stars of its latest series project.<\/p>\n

The tech behemoth\u2019s streaming outlet has greenlit a limited series called The Off Weeks, with Severance executive producer\/director Ben Stiller<\/a> and Jessica Chastain<\/a>, who stars in Apple TV+\u2019s forthcoming drama The Savant<\/a>, set for the lead roles. Both will also serve as exec producers.<\/p>\n

Alissa Nutting<\/a> (Made for Love<\/a>, Teenage Euthanasia<\/a>) will serve as showrunner on The Off Weeks, with Michael Showalter<\/a> (who developed the project through his Semi-Formal Productions) directing. Apple Studios<\/a> and Wiip<\/a> are producing the show.<\/p>\n

The Off Weeks will follow a recently divorced professor, Gus Adler (Stiller), who struggles to hold things together during \u201con weeks\u201d when he has custody of his kids.
