Online<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n Carrie Ann Inaba<\/a> really jived with the “Dancing With the Stars<\/a>” premiere.<\/span><\/p>\n After the judge shared that she would unfortunately miss the show\u2019s season 34 premiere due to an unspecified illness, Inaba couldn\u2019t help but gush about the show and all the love she received. <\/span><\/p>\n \u201cBravo to the whole cast and crew of @dancingwiththestars,\u201d the 57-year-old wrote on her <\/span>Instagram<\/span><\/a> Story Sept. 17. \u201cThat was an incredible premiere episode!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Inaba continued, \u201cAnd thank YOU all for the well wishes. I\u2019m touched at all the messages of support I received.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The choreographer\u2014who also shared a snapshot of a bouquet of flowers she received from network ABC \u2014 was also thankful for the \u201crespectful way\u201d “Dancing With the Stars” handled what she called \u201ca very human situation.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n During the show\u2019s premiere, hosts<\/span> Alfonso Ribeiro and<\/span> Julianne Hough <\/span>addressed Carrie Ann\u2019s absence<\/span><\/a> alongside<\/span> Derek Hough and <\/span>Bruno Tonioli.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt’s great to have all of you at home joining us in the ballroom and wonderful to see our judges\u2014well, two of them,\u201d Alfonso said. \u201cCarrie Ann is under the weather and hopes to be back with us next week.”<\/span><\/p>\n \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAlix Earle is ready to hit the ballroom! We love you.”<\/span><\/p>\n Shortly before the live broadcast, Inaba had explained that <\/span>she would be absent<\/span><\/a> from the judge\u2019s table.<\/span><\/p>\n “I wanted to share that I will not be at the show tonight as I am feeling quite under the weather,” she wrote in an <\/span>Instagram post Sept. 16<\/span><\/a>. “I\u2019m resting up and can\u2019t wait to be back next week in good health.”<\/span><\/p>\n She wished all the competitors \u2014 including stars like <\/span>Hilaria Baldwin, <\/span>Alix Earle, <\/span>Corey Feldman, <\/span>Robert Irwin and <\/span>Dylan Efron \u2014the best of luck, adding, “I\u2019ll be cheering you on from home.”<\/span><\/p>\n And that<\/span> is exactly what she did, as seen on her Instagram <\/span>Story,<\/span> which showed her excitedly waiting for the broadcast to begin. <\/span><\/p>\n But Carrie Ann wasn\u2019t the only person whose absence was felt in the ballroom, as dancing pro <\/span>Sasha Farber did not return to compete on season 34.
