Priscilla Presley<\/strong> is looking back on what it was like losing daughter Lisa Marie Presley,<\/strong> whom she shared with her late ex-husband, Elvis Presley.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIt was the second saddest day of my life, other than losing Elvis,\u201d Priscilla told People<\/em><\/a> in a story published on Wednesday, September 17.\u00a0 \u201cIt took a long time to come to terms with the fact that Lisa was gone.\u201d<\/p>\n On January 12, 2023, Lisa Marie tragically passed away from a small bowel obstruction that developed after she underwent bariatric surgery years before. She was 54 years old.<\/p>\n Priscilla recalled getting to the hospital and learning the devastating news that her daughter would not recover.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were there all day long. Lisa really wasn\u2019t breathing, so she was on the ventilator,\u201d Priscilla shared with People<\/em>. \u201cFor hours we were there waiting, hoping and praying until the doctor came in and said, \u2018Priscilla, I\u2019m so sorry, she\u2019s gone.\u2019 We just couldn\u2019t believe it \u2014 didn\u2019t want to believe it. It was hard on all of us, it still is.\u201d<\/p>\n As the National Enquirer<\/em> previously reported<\/a>, Lisa Marie is currently embroiled in a $50 million fraud lawsuit<\/a> with her former business associates, Brigitte Kruse<\/strong> and Kevin Fialko<\/strong>.
