The royal family turned the pomp and ceremony up to the absolute max yesterday, when they laid on a decadent banquet in honour of President Trump’s ‘unprecedented’ second state visit<\/a> to the UK.<\/p>\n Royal attendees at the dinner included King Charles, Queen Camilla<\/a>, Princess Anne and the Prince and Princess of Wales<\/a>, the latter of whom sat beside Trump (with the King flanking his other side).<\/p>\n While the official portraits of the Prince and Princess of Wales looking resplendent in their finest garb have gathered plenty of praise over on social media (I mean, have you seen<\/em> Kate’s dress?), there’s one sneaky behind-the-scenes picture, courtesy of royal photograph Matt Porteous, that has really set tongues wagging.<\/p>\n After all, it’s not custom for the royals to indulge in public displays of affection during official engagements, where they’re technically working. Although, we did see the Princess lovingly kiss her father-in-law, King Charles<\/a>, at a funeral earlier this week, which somewhat strayed from protocol. <\/p>\n A candid image of the Prince and Princess of Wales holding hands, while standing outside of Windsor Castle in the pitch black, has caught the attention of royal fans \u2013 so much so, that the Waleses even re-grammed the photo on their own Instagram account. <\/p>\n It’s not the first time that William and Kate have shared a loving moment that has been picked up by the press \u2013 earlier this year, an old clip of the Princess affectionately patting the Prince on the bottom resurfaced<\/a>, much to fans’ delight.<\/p>\n Super cute!<\/p>\nEveryone’s clicking on…<\/h2>\n<\/header>\n<\/section>\n
